WASHINGTON — A Maryland man is facing charges after police say he assaulted a stranger who refused a high-five while walking along 14th Street, Northwest, last week.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, 26-year-old Emundson Dean Robert, from Germantown, Md., is charged with simple assault (hate/bias).
