MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — One person is displaced, and a home sustained $150,000 in damage after a Wednesday night house fire in Brookeville, according to the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS).
Roughly 50 firefighters responded to reports of a house fire around 10:30 p.m. in the 23100 block of Howard Chapel Rd.

There, firefighters saw flames coming from the back porch and quickly extinguished them.
The occupants of the home escaped unharmed, and no injuries were reported, firefighters added.
