Snowfall Monday was largely as expected, with up to an inch accumulating mainly on grassy areas. Roads remained mostly just wet, with minimal travel impact through the afternoon and evening. The focus now shifts to freezing rain overnight as temperatures hover near freezing.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 10pm tonight until 10am Tuesday for portions of central Maryland and northern Virginia, including Montgomery County.
