Police: Germantown Walmart theft suspects try to run away after crash

GERMANTOWN, Md. (DC News Now) — Police took two people into custody after a theft at the Germantown Walmart on Tuesday.

The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said in a post that officers were dispatched just after 2:35 p.m. to the store for a theft.

The suspects drove off in a car with Florida tags but ultimately crashed the car near 118 Barrel Dr.

MCPD said that the suspects all bailed out of the car and tried to run away…
