LEESBURG, Va. (DC News Now) — Leesburg police said a man has been arrested for burglarizing a clothing store almost two years ago.
The Leesburg Police Department said on Wednesday that Timothy Root, 59, of Pennsylvania, has been charged with burglarizing an Aeropostale store, located at 241 Fort Evans Rd., on Nov. 23, 2024.

The day of the burglary, officers were called to the store in the Leesburg Premium Outlets at 5:15 a.m. and found the front glass door had been shattered. An unknown number of items had been taken from the store.
After investigating, police identified Root as the suspect. He was extradited to Loudoun County on March 3 and is being held withoutbond…
