Cooper James Wagner, 22, of Sterling, was sentenced to five years behind bars for the 2025 attack in Ashburn, where prosecutors say he repeatedly punched the woman in the head and face before slamming her to the ground.
Wagner will be required to pay the victim’s medical and counseling expenses, which resulted from the attack.
