Three Standout Dishes in Montgomery County (February 2026 Edition)

Our very own “Mr. MoCo” Alex Tsironis recently shared a social media post highlighting three of his favorite dishes from the month of February. He wrote, “I try to support as many restaurants as I can and, although I’m not able to make it out to as many as I once was, these are three of my favorite things I had last month in February.” Photos can be seen in the embedded Instagram post below.

Fork & Kitchen opened in February at 150 Gibbs Street in The Square at Rockville, taking over the 6,500-square-foot space previously occupied by Ekó House and Bar Louie. He stopped by on opening day and tried a few dishes, but his absolute favorite was The Harbor Pie, which he ended up going back for again last week. The dish features a “buttery crust filled with lobster and lump crab in a velvety seafood cream sauce with corn and potato, finished golden and bubbling.” Price: $29

House of Curry opened about a year ago in Damascus (805 Main St.) and offers authentic Indian cuisine. The menu includes Indo-Chinese dishes, tandoori specialties, chicken, biryani, and goat and lamb sections, along with a wide variety of appetizers, sides, breads, and desserts. One of his favorites was the kabob platter, which came out sizzling. The assortment includes Chicken Tikka, Chicken Sekuwa, Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Sekuwa, and Sheekh Kabob. Price: $19.99…
