FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — The family of one of the women stabbed in a chaotic Beltway road rage incident said she and her friends had pulled over to help after seeing a crash moments before they were brutally attacked.
Four people were stabbed on the southbound lanes of I-495 in Fairfax County on Sunday, March 1. One woman, Michelle Adams, 39, was killed. Three others, Dana Bonnell, 36, Mary C. Flood, 37, and Heather Miller, 40, were seriously injured. The man with the knife, 32-year-old Jared Llamado, was shot and killed by a state trooper at the scene. State police said Llamado also stabbed and killed his own dog.
