Gasoline Spill Sends Fuel Through Maryland Streets Before Reaching Pond Near Rockville Homes

A gasoline spill in Maryland late Saturday night sent fuel flowing through Rockville streets and into storm drains — eventually reaching a nearby pond before hazmat crews rushed in to contain it.

Firefighters were dispatched around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, to the area of Route 355 and Rollins Avenue in Rockville after reports of a fuel spill involving a gasoline delivery truck, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue.
