Montgomery County recently honored dozens of public safety professionals at the 51st Annual Public Safety Awards, recognizing acts of valor, lifesaving service, teamwork, and dedication across multiple agencies. The event, cohosted with the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, brought together local, state, and federal leaders who praised first responders for their courage and commitment to protecting the community, especially in high-risk and emergency situations.
Awards were presented to personnel from agencies including Montgomery County Police, Fire and Rescue, Sheriff’s Office, Department of Correction and Rehabilitation, and public safety partners, highlighting both individual heroism and coordinated team efforts.
