A Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office school resource officer is on leave as part of an ongoing investigation.
The deputy involved in the incident, the nature of which is not known, was assigned to an Ashburn middle school and appears to have served with the Sheriff’s Office for around eight years. The incident happened sometime last fall and involved an allegation of sexual harassment against a school employee, according to court filings.
