Public Forum Set on Role of Police in Montgomery County Schools

The Montgomery County Advisory Commission on Policing will hold a virtual public forum on Monday, April 13 at 6:30 pm to receive feedback from residents on the role of police in County schools. Community members must register in advance to attend or testify, and written comments may also be submitted through the ACP Public Comment Form.

The commission, established in 2019 and later updated in 2023, advises the County Council on policing-related policies, programs, and legislation. The listening session is part of its ongoing process to gather public input on policing practices and school safety.
