2 hurt in crash involving ambulance in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) β€” Two people were hospitalized after a crash involving an ambulance in Montgomery County on Saturday, according to the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS).

Firefighters said the crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. at Frederick Rd and E Gude Dr. as a patient was being transported to the hospital.

First responders rescued one person who had been trapped inside their car. Footage of the scene showed the car sustained damage to the driver’s side, with the door being removed to free the driver.
