CLARKSBURG, Md. (DC News Now) — One person was hospitalized after a vehicle overturned in Clarksburg late Saturday night, according to officials.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service Spokesperson Pete Piringer said crews responded to the single-vehicle crash near Frederick Road and Shawnee Lane, in the area of Clarksburg High School, around 10 p.m.

At the scene, responders found a car overturned with the driver trapped inside and pulled them from the flipped vehicle.
Officials said one person was transported to the hospital but is expected to be OK. At this time, it is unclear if the driver is the one who was taken to the hospital or if anyone else was in the car at the time of the incident.
