The hot embers of a hookah pipe that was left outside on the rear patio of a Fairland townhome likely sparked a fire Sunday evening that displaced at least four adults, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) officials.
The blaze resulted in about $135,000 of damage to the townhome in the 3900 block of Bryant Park Circle, spokesperson Pete Piringer said Sunday on social media. A neighboring townhome also sustained some damage from the fire.
