Montgomery County Police 4th District officers were dispatched at 10:12am to the 13100 block of Ewood Lane in the Glenmont/Layhill area for a barricade situation involving a 62-year-old man.
The incident has since escalated to an Emergency Response Team (ERT) activation, with officers continuing efforts to safely take the individual into custody.
