LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Loudoun County has paired up with Metro to offer senior residents special Senior Smart Trip cards.
The Loudoun County Transit and Commuter Services announced Tuesday that it collaborated with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority to make these cards available locally.
These cards are free fare cards available to residents age 65 or older. It automatically applies a 50% discount on fares for Metro Rail, Metro Bus, Loudoun County Transit’s commuter bus and other transit services that accept Smart Trip cards.
