Red Line service was disrupted Saturday morning after a person was struck by a train at the Grosvenor-Strathmore station, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer.
Piringer reported at 8:18am that trains were single tracking between Grosvenor and Medical Center due to the incident. Riders were advised to expect delays in both directions, with some trains offloading at Friendship Heights to help minimize train traffic.
