Montgomery County-based Team Senshi Karate earned 21 medals at the 2026 USA Open Karate Championships and Junior International Cup, held April 2–5 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Competing against more than 3,000 athletes from around the world, the Montgomery Village team brought home seven gold, six silver, and eight bronze medals, and was the only team from Maryland to compete in the event.
