Firefighters in Fairfax County were called around 2:40 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, to the 2100 block of Basset Street in Fort Hunt, where passersby reported smoke.
Upon arrival, crews from the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department upgraded the call to a house fire, officials said. Crews found one person inside while battling the blaze.
