MANASSAS, Va. (7News) — Beekeepers in the DMV region say spring is peak time for bees.
Jo McCabe – Owner, Mr. Handyman of Northern Virginia, is responsible for moving hundreds of beehives in the region and placing them in the Liberia House and Grounds apiary, or bee yard.
“During the winter, they’re essentially in hibernation, so you won’t see them around. They won’t get leave the hive unless it’s over 55 degrees,” McCabe said…
