Bold by Cam Ward to say this publicly because now he’s gotta deal with a pissed off Tom Izzo again. That said, this is a wild stray and a direct hit on Maryland. Don’t think I need to remind anyone how dogshit Maryland was this past year. They were one of the worst power conference teams, not even competitive in a lot of games and honestly just forgotten about. But that’s just ammo for Izzo to use on Cam Ward when he’s pissed off.
Worth nothing that Ward is from Maryland, left the state to go play for noted Big 10 rival Michigan State. Sidenote, Maryland in the Big 10 for basketball might be dumber than Stanford/Cal being in the ACC. The Terps are just an ACC basketball team. There should be 9 teams in the ACC. We had it right when it was Duke, UNC, NC State, Wake, Maryland, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Virginia and FSU. We need to get back to that…
