Montgomery County Police released its daily crime summary for April 22, 2026, outlining a series of incidents across multiple districts, including auto thefts, burglaries, robberies, and hate-bias related reports.
In the 1st District, which covers Rockville and surrounding areas, officers responded to two auto thefts and a commercial burglary. A vehicle was stolen from a parking lot on the 100 block of East Jefferson Street between 8:05am and 10am. Another vehicle was taken overnight from a parking lot on the 600 block of Elmcroft Boulevard between 9pm on April 21 and 9am on April 22. A separate incident on the 1400 block of West Montgomery Avenue involved a commercial burglary where the lock was removed from a building’s front door.
