Man accused of threatening Safeway employee with knife after stealing food in Wheaton

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (7News) — A man accused of threatening a Safeway loss prevention officer with a knife after allegedly stealing food in Wheaton, Maryland, has been arrested.

The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said Jose Marvin Rodriguez, 40, is facing charges of armed robbery, first-degree assault, and theft less than $100.
