VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A Virginia Beach woman has been arrested in New York in connection with an armed robbery and a separate shooting in Maryland, authorities said.
The investigation began April 19, when Virginia Beach police responded to a reported robbery in the 3900 block of Holland Road. Officers determined a suspect displayed a weapon, demanded money, and fled with cash.
Detectives later identified the suspect as 46-year-old Shantay O’Donnell of Virginia Beach. Warrants were issued charging her with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
