MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — A Maryland historian is once again walking the path to freedom.
Thirty years after first retracing an Underground Railroad route on foot, Anthony Cohen stepped off Monday, May 4, on a new 750-mile journey from Montgomery County, Maryland, to Canada, following the same roads, waterways and communities once traveled by freedom seekers escaping slavery.
