Investigators seek information on Popes Head Road fire

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department (FCFD) investigators are seeking additional information related to a Sunday fire at a vacant home.

According to firefighters, crews responded on Sun., May 3, around 3 a.m., to reports of a fire at an unoccupied home in the 11100 block of Popes Head Rd after a driver passing by saw the flames.

Home destroyed after fire spreads from deck in Calvert County

Firefighters said the building was vacant and had been listed for sale for a long period of time. However, investigators found that a group of people was seen at the building the night of the fire.
