The Park and Bark festival will return to Ellanor C. Lawrence Park on May 9 for its fourth year, offering an afternoon of food, music and dog‑friendly activities. The free event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the lawn outside the Walney Visitor Center, 5040 Walney Road.
Hosted by the Ellanor C. Lawrence Park Friends, the festival invites families and their leashed pets to enjoy craft brews from Lazy Dog Restaurant, gourmet sausages and hot dogs from the Kaziville food truck, dog‑themed vendors, local makers, adoptable dogs from A Forever Home Rescue Foundation, mobile grooming services, live music by Lucas Mason and children’s activities led by park staff.
“Park and Bark turns the lawn into a (leashed!) dog run full of festival fun,” said Jennifer Grinnell, president of ECLP Friends. “It brings the community together — friends, family, neighbors, local vendors and, of course, animal lovers — all in support of our park. Come, sit and stay for a while with your dog, while raising awareness and support for environmental education and park programs.”…
