Pedestrian hurt after being hit by car in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A pedestrian was hit by a car in Montgomery County on Sunday afternoon.

The Montgomery County Department of Police said officers were called to the Georgia Avenue and Leesborough Drive area at around 1:15 p.m. for reports of a pedestrian being hit by a car.

Beach Drive, Meadowbrook Local Park closed in Montgomery County for flooding

The 17-year-old pedestrian had minor injuries and was evaluated by fire and rescue crews.
