Police investigating 3 incidents of shots fired in Asheville

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – Three shots fired incidents are under investigation, according to the Asheville Police Department.

Officers report responding to Klondyke Avenue around 1:35 p.m. on Friday to investigate calls of a gun discharge. No shells or property damage was found. However, police later responded near the intersection of Congress and Choctaw Street and found four shell casings and damage to one residence.

Police said they were called on Saturday to the area near Flint Street around 2:02 a.m. They found 17 shell casings and damage to two vehicles. A suspect was not at the scene but a vehicle on Riverside Drive that matched multiple witnesses’ description…
