BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — The Asheville Fire Department said all lanes of Interstate 40 have reopened after a fallen tree blocked all westbound lanes early Thursday, June 11.
An alert from the North Carolina Department of Transportation around 5:42 a.m. said all lanes of Interstate 40 West past Exit 55 in Buncombe County were closed because of debris.
