BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — Leaders in Buncombe and Madison counties have collaborated to update their regional safety hazard plan in the aftermath of Helene’s devastating flooding.
County staff collaborated on the updated plan after the storm, incorporating lessons learned from Helene and updated risk data. The plan also outlines new priorities aimed at mitigating future risk.
