ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – Asheville City Council will soon consider a proposal to rezone the Asheville Mall located on Tunnel Road and its potential impact on future development in the area.
According to officials, the ordinance would rezone the 40.88-acre property from Urban Place Form District (UP) to Regional Business (RB), which conflicts with the goals outlined in the Living Asheville Comprehensive Plan adopted in 2018.
