About 30 jobs cut as Fletcher manufacturing facility transitions into development lab

FLETCHER, N.C. (WLOS) — Approximately 30 jobs at a Fletcher manufacturing facility will be impacted as the location transitions into “an innovation and development lab.”

A spokesperson for Avery Dennison, which designs and develops labeling and functional materials, radio frequency identification (RFID) inlays and tags, and software applications, confirmed high-volume manufacturing work at its Fletcher location would move to other facilities.
