ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — After a fatal shooting in downtown Asheville left two people dead and several others injured, local police say they are intensifying their crackdown on gun violence and illegal firearms.
In July alone, the city has experienced two shootings that resulted in fatalities.
