Don your best Renaissance attire for a weekend of medieval combat, mermaids, pirates, fire spinning, belly dancing and plenty of turkey legs at Mills River Brewing Company’s first Renaissance Festival.
The Renaissance Festival opens at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, transforming the brewery grounds into a medieval-inspired village. The day will feature a full-contact medieval combat tournament by Warriors of Ash; mermaid, pirate and fantasy entertainment by Tide and Tempest; live music and vendors. Guests also can watch a fire-spinning show by Unifire Theater, belly dancing by Mystic Mountain Tribe and the comedic “Tomato Torment” with Jester Adam.
