Conserving Carolina will host a Nature Preserve Stewards workday Wednesday, September 9, at the Mouth of Mud Creek preserve in the Mills River and Arden area of Henderson County. The four-hour volunteer session runs from 10 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon.
The Nature Preserve Stewards program offers weekly workdays, rain or shine, with exceptions for extreme weather. Volunteers may choose individual dates or participate on a steady schedule that fits their availability.
