Saluda Community Land Trust receives $13,500 grant for trail maintenance

Funding will support trail sustainability, volunteer training

SALUDA—The Saluda Community Land Trust has received a $13,500 grant from the Community Foundation of Henderson County to improve the management and maintenance of its seven miles of hiking trails.

The grant will fund an experienced trail crew leader who will implement a strategic sustainability plan, including recruiting and training volunteers to help maintain and improve the trails.
