ASHEVILLE – A leader at the Omni Grove Park Inn once convicted in connection with an accident that killed a Nevada newspaper carrier has been arrested in Asheville by U.S. marshals and extradited to Nevada, where he was accused of violating the terms of his probation.
William Fredrick Bierlein, 54, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center in Nevada on Sept. 3 after an arrest by the U.S. Marshal Service on a governor’s warrant. According to the warrant, Bierlein was sentenced to four years of probation after he was convicted in 2012 of felony reckless driving.
