2 charged after break-in, burglary at NASCAR driver Dave Marcis’ home in Arden

ARDEN, N.C. (WLOS) — Two people have been arrested in connection with a break-in and burglary at the Buncombe County home of NASCAR driver Dave Marcis, authorities confirmed.

Deputies responded to Marcis’ house in Arden for a report of a breaking and entering on Friday, Aug. 28, according to a press release from the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office.

Marcis was out of town when the incident occurred. A Facebook post from one of Marcis’ friends said the stolen items included guns, jewelry and personal NASCAR memorabilia, including knives honoring past Winston Cup championship drivers…
