Rescued food from PGA TOUR event will provide 8,000 meals in western North Carolina

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Over four tons of food from the Biltmore Championship Asheville will provide over 8,000 meals to people across western North Carolina instead of going to waste.

Food Connection, an Asheville-based nonprofit that has operated for 11 years, was selected as the official food-rescue partner for the PGA TOUR event.
