FAIRVIEW, N.C. (WLOS) — A Fairview woman is dead after she was struck and killed by a vehicle that authorities said left the scene of the crash Monday, Sept. 21.
The N.C. State Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 8:17 p.m. along Cane Creek Road.
Troopers said a pedestrian, identified as 29-year-old Amber Hudgens, was struck by a small red passenger vehicle that fled the scene. Hudgens was pronounced dead at the scene…
