Some of WNC’s barn quilts have disappeared, but a new exhibition is working to make sure their stories don’t disappear with them.
An exhibit titled Barn Quilts of WNC at the Ferguson Family YMCA in Candler is a project of ArtsvilleUSA— an effort to document and preserve WNC’s barn quilts, a tradition often rooted in women’s creative work.
