Henderson County property owners can apply for help paying to remove an abandoned manufactured home from their land. The county’s Abandoned Manufactured Home Removal Program grant cycle runs from July 1st, 2026, through June 30th, 2027.
The grant covers half of the demolition cost under the standard arrangement. The selected demolition contractor’s base price is $4,850, leaving the property owner with a $2,425 contribution, according to the county’s Sept. 2nd announcement.
