Dessert in DC is about to get the kind of treatment that’s usually reserved for the main course. The Asheville-based Crave Dessert Bar is coming to the District, giving the titular meal a high-end glow-up, reports the Washington Business Journal.
Crave will be making its DC debut at 2 Massachusetts Avenue NW. The historical 10,000-square-foot building was last occupied by Truist Financial Corp.
Crave Dessert Bar currently has an application in for a liquor license with the Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration. The paperwork shows that the eatery will have seating for up to 75 customers, with an occupancy load of 90. Crave will, additionally, offer 70 seats for al fresco dining on a sidewalk cafe.
