ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — On Saturday, the Basilica of Saint Lawrence, Deacon and Martyr, held a reopening ceremony after finishing a project, years in the making.
Renovations to the historic building included replacing the copper dome, repairing the oculus on top and restoring the cornice and parapet walls.
