UNC Health Pardee will bring its mobile mammography unit to the Henderson County Health Department on Thursday, October 15th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The screening stop will take place at 1200 Spartanburg Highway, Suite 100, in Hendersonville.
Mammo on the Go is a department of Pardee Hospital that provides screenings at locations throughout Western North Carolina. The mobile service offers 3D breast imaging, with female technologists performing the screenings.
Appointments for the Hendersonville stop can be scheduled through MammoOnTheGo.com. Pardee requires each participant to have a referring provider who can receive the mammogram results, making that provider relationship one of the conditions for using the service…
