ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Asheville officials say repairs to Weaver Park’s baseball field should be finished by the end of December, but some playground improvements could take much longer, leaving questions about when the troubled $800,000 renovation will finally be complete.
The project came under renewed scrutiny during an Oct. 22 City Council agenda briefing, where council members questioned why the city is still fixing problems months after the renovation was declared substantially complete.
