WLOS – The owners of multiple businesses that were damaged early Wednesday morning in a massive fire in Sylva are trying to stay positive about the future and working to rebuild. About half a dozen fire departments responded to the building fire on Eastgate Drive. Asheville Permanent Makeup Clinic and Foot and the adjacent Foot and Ankle Clinic were both damaged in the blaze. The portion of the building that was destroyed was being used as storage for Harris Regional Hospital. The Jackson County Fire Marshal’s Office and the State Bureau of Investigation are working to determine the fire’s cause and whether foul play was involved.
