Wind Advisory across WNC; higher elevations have winter storm warning, advisory

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) – Colder air poured into the mountains Sunday, Jan. 28, thanks to gusty northwest winds. The high temperature for the day at Asheville Regional Airport was recorded around 2 a.m. at 56 degrees, but as the day has gone on, temperatures dropped into the 40s Sunday morning, then into the 30s by late afternoon.
